Many of you may know that due to the coronavirus UK citizens are advised not to travel unnecessarily and to work from home if possible. We urge you to stay home and stay healthy by following the government’s advice on self-isolation and social distancing.
Our main priority is to ensure that during this period, the impact on our students’ applications is minimised as much as possible. In preparation for this, we are adapting our services, so that everyone will have access to apply for higher education remotely over the phone, WhatsApp, email and even on social media platforms.
We want to ensure that all our students can rely on us during these times. Let’s stay apart to stand together against Coronavirus.
Our Remote Application Process
All visitors and current students wishing to apply for higher education you can browse the list of available courses here.
If you would like to get advice or are unsure what to study, you can contact us either by phone, email or reach us on social media. We will provide you with further details and assess your eligibility.
We have created electronic versions of all application forms, which you will be able to fill in from home or over the phone.
Any supporting documents required for your application can be sent via email or WhatsApp. If you do not have a scanner at home you can download a scanner app on your phone, such as the Office Lens by Microsoft. Alternatively, you can send high quality, well-lit photographs of the documents.
We can prepare you for the academic interview over a phone or skype call, ensuring you are aware of the types of questions which you may be asked and what kind of response to give.
We also have many resources for our students to ensure you are fully ready for any English Assessment. We can direct you to a variety of online practice resources, we also have created an excellent English Practice Test which you can access online.
Once you complete the practice test, we can see whether you are ready for the assessment or if we need to provide you with extra practice beforehand.
The guidance on Student Finance applications will also proceed as normal. We will contact you over the phone and by email. Our SFE Expert can guide you on completing application form remotely.
All our partner institutions are working hard to support all their students and applicants. One change they have implemented is carrying out the Academic Interview over the phone.
