Key benefits
- Knowledge and skills – Marketing is often considered to be the ‘glamorous’ function within the business where high achievers ‘hang out’ and produce fantastic, creative and world changing advertising campaigns. Some of this is true! However, behind all this exciting creativity lies a whole host of theory and concept which underpins the daily activities of each and every marketing team member.
- Career opportunities – The need for effective marketing is greater than ever as without sales generated by marketing no firms can survive, let alone expand.
- Professional recognition – This degree has been designed to cover the major parts of the courses covered by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), the Communications Advertising and Media Institute (CAM) and the Institute of Direct Marketing (IDM) as well as Google Analytics and PRINCE2. This means that with a minimum amount of additional study you can acquire a professional qualification in addition to your degree.
- Further study – Graduates can take their broad-based marketing skills and knowledge a stage further by studying for an MBA which can help with career advancement or pursuit of additional job opportunities.
