We aim to make the application process simple and fast for our students while ensuring that high quality and standard of application is upheld. Here is what you can expect when you apply with Study Bridge.
Inquiry Stage
When you first make contact with us, we will ask you some questions to find out what course and level of study you would like to pursue. This stage is important as we can assess what qualification and work experience you have, in order to recommend an appropriate level of study. We will also ask you how long you have been in the UK if you are from the EU, to ensure you are eligible for student finance.
Course Consultation
We will explain all the courses available to you, based on your requirements, needs and qualifications. We will also advise you on the career choices available once you complete your course, and any further education opportunities. This can take some time, as studying is a big decision, and we want to ensure you are 100% satisfied with the course you are applying for.
Application Forms
Once you have made your decision on which course is best for you, we can start the application process. Firstly, we will ask you to bring the required documents to support your application, we can scan them in the office, or you can either email them to us or upload them online in the student portal.
Secondly, we will review your personal statement and CV to ensure it meets the academic standard that the higher education providers are looking for. We even have a CV builder available for all the students, to help them in creating the correct format of the CV.
Afterwards, we will fill in the university application form with you, ensuring all the information and fields are filled in correctly, as not to delay the processing time. We can fill in the application form in the office, over the phone or we can email you the form link and guide you via email or messages (text or what’s app).
We will forward the application form and all supporting documents to the university of your choice.
Entry Assessment Preparation
The entry assessments can be stressful, which is why we prepare all our students and provide plenty of practice. We hold extensive academic interviews, preparing you for any questions which the university assessor may ask you.
We also have top-class online English practice assessments, ensuring you are confident when appearing for the university assessment, and plenty of online practice links available to all our students. Maths and IT tests are also available in the office, these may be required if you are applying for an education course.
Once you are ready for the entry assessments, we can schedule any needed appointments for you with your chosen university or college. Please note that the assessment times may be limited, and you may need to take time off work to attend.
Student Finance Guidance
The student loan application is a long and complex process, we aim to allow each student to apply with the best chance of receiving the highest possible maintenance loan and any grants available.
We can guide you when filling the paper or online application form in our office, as well as over a skype call with you. We will explain each field in the application form, ensuring it is filled in correctly and list out all the required supporting evidence which you need to post to the student loan company.
Filling the application incorrectly or not providing the correct supporting evidence, can prolong the application process by months. Our main focus is to diligently guide you in your application.
Student Support Throughout
Our services do not end once you are enrolled, we encourage all our students to contact us whenever they require any help related to their studies. We can advise you in extenuating circumstances, for example, if you fall ill and cannot continue your course. Alternatively, we are able to direct you to the best student discount apps and nus cards. Our advice and help are free for all our students, as we believe that everyone should be able to study and develop themselves.
Refer a Friend and Testimonials
We encourage all students who have applied with us to refer their friends, helping them to start higher education in the UK too. If you are very satisfied with all the help and guidance you have received, you can also help us by completing a testimonial questionnaire, thus spreading the word to others.
